Kids Birthday Party Ideas Perfect for Summer

Does your kid love to dance? Throw one big dance party to help them celebrate! There are plenty of ways to do this depending on what your child enjoys and your budget. One way is to invite all their friends over and blast their favorite music - this works for any time of day or night. For evening or night parties, decorate the space with blacklights and neons. Pass out glow sticks as party favors, throw on some jams and watch your kids have a blast! Another option is to hire a dance instructor to host the party. A host will keep your kids’ attention and lead them with easy-to-follow dance moves. Kids that are slightly older, like 5th-8th graders, might appreciate going to an escape room and working together to get out of the room. If there’s enough kids, you can split up the kids into two or more groups then see which group escapes the room first, then award those team members a prize. This type of activity is not only fun, but it’s healthy and challenging for the kids and gets them unplugged from their devices and thinking critically and logically.  Get the teams kicked off with some custom tees so that each team is distinguished by their team name or team colors. Getting the kids outfitted in their custom tees will also boost morale and inspire more involvement in the escapes! If there is not a budget for an Escape Room, you can do the next best thing: a home scavenger hunt! Create a fun scavenger activity where you plant items either around the house or around the neighborhood (Get your trustworthy neighbors involved!) and see which team finds all their items first.

Find out from your local zoo if this is a program they offer and watch your child go giddy with excitement at the thought of spending the night with friends and their favorite animals!
